How to make Egg Rolls with Chicken

Give this recipe a try and you will never regret it, in just 20 minutes this recipe is ready. Wonderful appetizer!

Ingredients 

  1. 100gram, chopped cooked chicken
  2. 1 egg (Whisked)
  3. Vegetable oil
  4. 1/2 cup chopped carrot
  5. soy sauce (to taste)
  6. 1 table spoon brown sugar
  7. 1/2 tablespoon ground ginger
  8. 1 teaspoons garlic powder
  9. Cabbage (shredded)
  10. 2 scallions chopped
  11. egg roll wrappers



Direction

Step 1

  1. Mix brown sugar, ginger, garlic and soy sauce in a medium bowl, set aside
  2. Mix carrot, scallions, cabbage and chicken in another bowl and add the soy sauce mixture
  3. Combine the 2 mixtures properly and set aside for 5 – 15 minutes place the mixture in a sieve to drain fluid

Step 2

  1. Scoop 3 table spoons of the mixture onto the egg roll wrapper, align mixture to the center
  2. Brush the egg roll wrapper boundaries with the whisked eggs
  3. Roll up the wrapper tightly
  4. Repeat the process for all the egg rolls
  5.  

Step 3

  1. In a deep fryer, heat about 3 cups of vegetable oil until flaringly hot not burning
  2. Put the egg rolls into the oil bit by bit
  3. Fry for 4 minutes on each side until brown
  4. Drain out the done egg roll on a paper sieve and serve immediately
